I must say, this woman was incredibly tenacious! Despite my requests for her to leave me alone, she kept ringing me repeatedly. She pushed me to complete some sort of consumer lifestyle questionnaire, promising perks in return. It felt very much like a dodgy phishing scheme to me, no doubt about it.

Dodgy call for sure. The person barely spoke English properly and kept going on about some benefits stuff that made no sense at all. Total scam in my book.

I tried ringing this number back but George picked up. He said he actually owns the line and is really annoyed because someone else is using it to ring people across the UK. It’s causing him a lot of hassle. He’s already reported the issue to BT, the police, and trading standards, but they’re still looking into it. Meanwhile, he just has to deal with loads of calls every day from confused people.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, asking about my lifestyle stuff, supposedly to offer me extra benefits. I didn’t hang about and ended the call pretty quick. Feels like it was probably a scam, no way it was legit.

Got a call from an Asian woman asking for some stuff about my lifestyle, saying it was to help me get more benefits. I just ended the call straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam.
