At 8:50 in the morning on 5th December 2019, we got a call that woke us up. It was an Indian guy claiming he was with Benefits UK, wanting to ask some questions. We didn’t bother staying on the line, just ended the call and blocked the number.

got a call at 7:55 in the morning, heard that typical delay like a call centre had been put on, so we just hung up straight away.

We’ve had calls from these fraudsters literally every single day for ages now. When we finally picked up, it was just some robot voice telling us to call back someone we’ve never came across before. Even though we’ve blocked that number, the calls keep coming in non-stop.

Got a call today around half two in the afternoon. It was a woman with an Indian accent, said her name was Marie and claimed to be from UK benefits. She wanted to ask some quick questions, said it wouldn’t take long. I said no thanks and ended the call. Thing is, they’ve been ringing for weeks on end, saying it’s about my washing machine insurance. Proper nuisance, this lot.

Got a machine response, and it was clear they weren’t keen on chatting. After seeing what others said here, I’ve decided to block the number.

he called sayin I'd won some kind of prize hamper, but when I asked how I managed to win it, he just kept dodging the question. then he started quizzing me about my washing machine, my energy provider, and even my age. said the hamper would arrive in a couple days, but I still haven't got a clue what I even won!
