I just got this dodgy recorded call on my home phone saying my card's been charged twice today - some £300 from my bank and another £1000 on Amazon. It told me to 'Press 1 to verify'. Honestly, if anyone did manage to nick anything, they’d be seriously fortunate. My bank balance is practically zero and I’ve got no overdraft to cover it.
