Got a call about some sort of home appliance insurance or something, but as soon as I told them I don’t do cold calls, they swore at me. Bit rude really.

I got a call from 02084675519, sounded like an American bloke. The number seems legit, but I’m not bothering to call back. When he started his scripted spiel, I interrupted and told him I’m a retired IT engineer and don’t need any help. He just told me to bugger off. I kept calm and ended the call. Any more calls from that number will just go straight to my spam.

I saw the number but chose not to pick up since it was unfamiliar. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either.

They claimed to be from BT saying there was fraud detected on my computer, total scam, so steer clear of them!

I called this number after getting a phone call from it, but couldn't find any info about it online. When I rang them back, a bloke with a London accent answered and said he'd had like 10 calls already. He explained nobody at his place had even picked up the phone to make those calls. Sounds like some scammers have taken over his number like they've done the past couple of days. So if you get a call from this number, I’d say report it and avoid calling back, the poor guy’s really annoyed about it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT's technical team. Definitely a scam, so just hang up and make sure to report it.

About five minutes ago I got a call from this number, some lady with an Asian accent claimed she was from BT's tech support. I told her that’s not true and if she really was, she should know my name and what plan I’m on. She just cut the call right away. This isn’t the first time either, they rang me last week too.

I got a call from a bloke who claimed he was from some company wanting to chat about my landline. At first, he was saying it was to do with my computer. I didn’t let him get far with his dodgy spiel and just interrupted. That’s when he dropped a proper rude phrase on me. I was still trying to be polite, mind!
