I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming to be from "BT." They mentioned they had been attempting to reach me and threatened to cut off my service! Realising it was a scam, I hung up swiftly before they could fish for any bank details and promptly added the number to my block list. Just to clarify, I'm not even a BT customer!
