I just played along like, “Alright then, go ahead,” thinking he’d ask for my address or bank info. But before that could happen, he just cut me off! Didn’t even get to chat about this ‘policy’ he mentioned. Quite odd really.

Picked up the phone and there was a long pause before anything was said. Pretty sure it was a robocall from the start, which set off alarm bells. The person on the line then said they were following up about my Aviva life insurance. I replied asking "What Aviva policy? I don’t have one." Then suddenly they switched and asked if I wanted to hear about buying a new life insurance plan. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Somebody called claiming to be from Aviva. My husband, who's battling sepsis, asked them to stop calling his mobile. Instead of stopping, the caller swore at him and threatened to break into our home tonight and harm us. What’s really scary is that he had our full address, postcode and my husband’s name. Some bloke called himself Benny from Aviva life insurance, trying to sell me a discount. He kept talking over me and kept pushing for a chat. When I said he could easily be anyone, he snapped back with ‘stop wasting my time love’ and just hung up. Definitely smells like a scam to me!
