Beware, this is nothing but a scam! They claim to be from BT, stating that they're getting error alerts from your router. It's all utter nonsense, really. Their goal is to trick you into installing some dodgy software, giving them access to your computer and the possibility to steal your personal information. I fell victim to this ruse a couple of years back. Whatever you do, don't install any software they suggest! The error messages they'll show you are just your standard Windows alerts from usual log files. Interestingly, even though the number seemed to be a London one starting with 0208, the person on the other end had an Indian accent, and there was a noticeable lag on the line.
