Got a call earlier today claiming I’d won a £30 hamper. Sounded suspicious straight away. Told the caller my name was wrong and then ended the call. Looking back, maybe I should’ve asked if it was a veggie hamper! Pretty clear it was a scam though.

Got a call offering a hamper. The caller seemed to already have my name and address, which was a bit unsettling. They started asking about my age, who supplies my energy, and even my washing machine brand. Not exactly menacing, but pretty persistent. What really creeped me out was them repeating my address over and over. Makes me wonder what their next move is. Proper worrying stuff.

So this morning at 9.21, my husband picked up our landline and some man with an Asian accent said he was from a food company and claimed hubby had won a hamper. My other half didn’t bother listening anymore and just hung up straight away!

I got another call from some call centre, but I just ended the call straight away without saying a word.
