They failed to identify themselves, which is just as well since I was away from my phone and probably wouldn't have picked up anyway. The message claimed there was a £300 transaction from Amazon and an additional charge of £1100 linked to some international money transfer platform. It suggested that these activities looked suspicious. I was instructed to press one to authorise the transactions or two to talk to their customer service team.
