I got a call from 0208447674 today but they hung up straight away. I doubt they'll be ringing me again though.

Got a call trying to sell us a washing machine warranty, something we’ve never signed up for. As soon as we told them we knew it was a scam, they hung up sharpish. The dead giveaway was when they suddenly offered us a 30% discount - real utility or insurance firms just don’t do that sort of thing!

So, this bloke called christian rang me up and guessed the wrong brand of our equipment, which is ancient anyway and definitely ain’t gonna have any active warranty. Tried calling back that number but it either won’t pick up or might be a cloned line. What a waste of time!

Some bloke rang me up saying my washing machine warranty was up and he wanted to renew it. Wouldn’t tell me which firm he was from and got really narked when I asked. Felt dodgy as hell, proper scam if you ask me.

A bloke by the name of 'Lewis' rang me up, insisting that my washing machine's warranty had lapsed and he wanted to sort out a renewal. He had the cheek to know my name and address too! When I pushed back and questioned him, he got rather hot under the collar and wouldn’t divulge where he was phoning from. It's quite alarming, really; sounds like nothing more than a dodgy scam.
