I got a call saying there was a charge of £575 from London to Karachi on 21 July, supposedly from Visa. It took them nearly six weeks to tell me, so they said it was urgent to cancel it. Problem is, I don’t even have a Visa credit card, so obvious scam. Also, recently some lot called from something called the Elephant refund team - looks like an insurance company or something. I couldn’t resist asking them if it was an Indian or African elephant refund, ‘cause I already got an African one and I’d love an Indian one too. They burst out laughing and promptly hung up on me. Classic!
