Today, I received a rather unexpected call from a number I didn't recognise. It was a pre-recorded voice purporting to be from Ofcom, alarming me with claims of hacking activity linked to my IP address and urging me to select various options. I hung up immediately! Understandably, this left me feeling quite uneasy, so I reached out to Ofcom directly. They reassured me that they never initiate such calls and that they're aware of numerous scams making the rounds. Their advice? To get in touch with Action Fraud and report the incident. Quite disturbing, to say the least!
