Got a call from this number today, totally unexpected, with a recorded voice saying it was Ofcom warning me about some hacking on my IP address and telling me to press some buttons. Didn’t even stay on the line, just hung up straight away! Still, it got me worried so I rang up Ofcom and they told me they never send messages like that. They mentioned these scams are doing the rounds and advised me to report it to Action Fraud.
