Received a call claiming to be from BT, stating that my internet security had been breached and that someone from the States was monitoring my online activity. They were asking about my bank details and whether my card started with a 4. I played along and said yes, but when he pressed for the rest of the number, I flat out refused. After that, he hung up on me - did so four times in total! I did have a chuckle afterwards, as I’d forgotten to mention it was the wrong bank I had pretended to use! 😂
