I received a rather alarming call that appeared to be from HMRC. They claimed they were initiating legal proceedings against me and prompted me to press 1 to speak with my case officer. It was all delivered in a rather lifeless, robotic tone.

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC and threatening legal steps, told me to press 1 to sort it out. Definitely a scam, best to ignore it.
