I received a call from someone claiming to be with AVIVA insurance, asserting that they’re the top dogs in the insurance world and oversee all other firms. They mentioned having some info about me and were keen to discuss a potential compensation package if I would verify a few particulars. I suggested they get in touch with my actual insurance provider to sort things out, but they seemed rather reluctant to do that. Sounds to me like it’s probably a scam of some sort.
