Got a call from this number but it turns out it’s linked to a legal firm that’s got no part in it all. Seems like some scammer is using their digits to ring people who post on Gumtree and adverts about lost pets. Definitely suspicious!

Put an ad up on Gumtree and within less than an hour I got two weird calls, one from this number and another from some 0161 one, saying I'd been in some accident. Never had anything like that happen, so I could tell straight away it was a total scam.

Total scam! I put up my car for sale on Gumtree and now I’m getting calls from people claiming they have some kind of payout for an accident I supposedly had. They’re asking me for my bank info, which feels super dodgy. Definitely a rip off!
