i got a weird, jumbled up threat from a number claiming to be hmre, then they just dropped the call on me.

On 23rd May 2017, I received a couple of really scrambled voicemails from someone named Alice Johnson on my answering machine. Her number was 02084356579, which seems to be her direct line. In the messages, she kept saying I should call her back before she takes legal steps against me or something like that. It was quite confusing.

Got a call from a foreign number, didn't really make sense. Some woman said her name was Alice Johnson and told me to call that number back because they’re taking legal action. Ended the call with a weird 'goodbye and take care' bit. Feels like one of those pricey scam calls.
