What a complete scam! These individuals are trying to fish for bank details, claiming they're calling on behalf of British Gas. It's utterly ridiculous!

We've had a similar experience ourselves; they asked us for our banking details which we flatly refused to provide. When we inquired why they required such sensitive information, their excuse was that it was necessary to verify our address. Utter nonsense, if you ask me! We've lodged complaints with Watchdog, trading standards, and we've even flagged what we suspect could be their parent company in the States. It's high time someone got to the bottom of this and put an end to their antics. They claimed their office is located at 81 Oxford Street, London, but whether that's true or just more nonsense is anyone’s guess. Considering a visit to check it out for ourselves!

I recently received a call from the same group! An energy-saving gadget that you simply plug into your wall? What a complete load of nonsense. The chap on the line was incredibly tenacious, insisting that I confirm details about myself that they should already know! We mentioned our date of birth, only for the woman to misinterpret it and confirm it as the wrong date! As soon as we clocked on, we knew it was a scam. Almost had me tricked! It’s alarming how they seemed to know the first four digits of our card number.

Steer clear of this character, whether it's a bloke or a bird - they're up to no good! Whatever you do, don't part with any details about your bank accounts or cards. This company has no connection to British Gas whatsoever. The individuals involved have Indian accents, and that chap going by Paul Woods has a rather slick manner about him. Exercise caution! They're likely to dangle some enticing offer for a product that claims to reduce your electricity bills. It appears they're particularly keen on preying upon the elderly and those who are more susceptible.

We’ve had a right pickle with a chap who tried to swindle our nearly 89-year-old mum not once, but twice! He seemed desperate after he’d depleted his bank account and everything else. We contacted the bank to let them know there'd be no transactions going through. Now, I’m not saying it’s linked, but just days earlier, there were some unusual online purchases made from his account, and the thing is, he doesn’t even have a computer! Thankfully, HSBC acted swiftly and managed to block those dodgy transactions before they went through. Best advice? Stick with ITC CO OP!

We also received a call from someone identifying themselves as "Alan Cooper", and it's evident from our findings that others have experienced similar situations. We must admit, we were rather naive and ended up sharing our debit card details. It soon dawned on us that we might be falling victim to a scam. We promptly expressed our disinterest and hung up. Now, we suspect we'll have to cancel our card to be on the safe side. I typically pride myself on being quite vigilant, so it’s puzzling how I was so easily swayed by the charisma of this Alan Cooper. He did have quite the Asian accent, if I recall correctly.

I received a call recently touting a supposed £40 reduction on our energy costs due to our excellent credit score, or so they claimed. They were incredibly insistent, and I ended up giving them some of our information in a moment of weakness. I've decided to notify my credit card company to cancel both the payment and the card itself. Quite the lesson learned!

An elderly relative of ours has been repeatedly approached by these con artists, presenting the same offers and information that others have also shared. We've alerted the bank and taken measures to halt any activity on his accounts. As of now, there haven't been any losses, thankfully.

Made a second attempt to swindle my nearly 89-year-old mum, managed to get hold of her banking details and all. We rang up to notify them - no way that was happening! Coincidentally, just a few days later, some money seemed to vanish from his account due to online transactions. Mind you, he doesn’t even own a computer! Thankfully, HSBC caught wind of it and nipped those dubious purchases in the bud. Seriously, steer clear of ITC CO OP!

We've gone through all the reviews, and from what we can gather, these individuals do not appear to be scammers at all. We've not only got the device, but we've also managed to save quite a bit, plus we have their customer support number. Every time we've needed assistance, we've been able to reach them without any hassle. Honestly, we're puzzled as to why you’re posting such negative comments-there’s really no need to tarnish the company's reputation. We've confirmed everything is above board with the trading standards, and all seems perfectly fine. By the way, these folks are based right here in Florida and New York. Cheers, and best wishes. I've come across some dodgy characters trying to peddle gadgets claiming they can 'slash £40 off your upcoming electricity bill.' Naturally, I reached out to the electricity provider, and they assured me it's all a scam. Best to steer clear of this nonsense!

Stay vigilant, everyone! This dodgy outfit is still at it, preying on our elderly folks. It’s the same old tale rearing its ugly head again. We're currently in the midst of sorting out the cancellation of my in-laws' bank cards as we speak! Tomorrow, a report will be made to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Who knows, perhaps eventually someone will take a stand against these scoundrels!
