This morning, I received a rather alarming phone call from a woman purporting to be with BT Openreach. She insisted that I needed to grant her access to my computer on account of some supposed fraudulent activity linked to my broadband service. I can assure you, this is a complete scam! For starters, BT isn't even my service provider. Even if it were, I highly doubt they would ever approach me like that, demanding such sensitive information. It's absurd!
