Received a call from this number just now. The individual on the other end mentioned something about unclaimed government grants. At that point, we decided to hang up.

This number keeps ringing us repeatedly but hangs up as soon as our voicemail kicks in. On one occasion, I managed to pick up, and the chap on the other end had an Indian accent, claiming to be from the Insulation Grants Advisory Service in St Helens. When I inquired about how he obtained our number, which is on the Telephone Preference Service list, he became incredibly aggressive and used some rather foul language. After that unsettling call, I used 1471 to trace the number and did a quick search online, only to find out it belongs to a fax machine at a newsagent called Bihal in Pinner, London. Oddly enough, it either perpetually rings busy or simply doesn’t respond at all.
