I received a call from a lady with a thick accent claiming to be from BT, regarding some problems with my internet. Her grasp of English was rather limited, making the conversation a bit challenging.

I picked up and there was dead silence on the other end for like 10 seconds. Decided to just block the number after that.

Today I got a call from a woman with a really strong accent, her English was quite poor. She claimed to be from BT and was asking about my internet setup, wanting to know if I was the primary user. When I asked for her name, she told me "Jenny Morgan." I didn’t catch it the first time and asked her again, and she sounded pretty irritated having to say it twice. I joked that it was a classic Welsh name, then she suddenly hung up. Definitely seemed like some kind of scam to me.
