Called on: 2019-09-05 18:05:05 (GMT+1) I picked up the phone and greeted, "Good evening, John." A woman's voice, possibly of Indian descent, responded with, "Sorry, wrong number." It felt more like an automated system verifying active numbers, as the call terminated immediately after she mentioned "number." Typically, you'd anticipate a slight pause before they hang up-like a second or two-while they either placed the receiver down or clicked "hang-up" on some telemarketing software.
