Some bloke called pretending to be from BT, had an Indian accent. He told me my internet was running slow and offered to fix it. I told him I don’t actually have internet at all, which seemed to throw him off a bit. He kept saying he could still help, but I just told him cheers and asked if he could send me an Indian takeaway instead. Weirdly enough, he hung up straight away. I reckon he was trying to get into my account or ask for card info to check my identity.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from BT about my internet being slow because strangers were supposedly using it. Honestly, it sounds like a load of nonsense to me, especially since Openreach had been outside my flat just a couple of days ago fixing an issue for a neighbour. I kept telling the bloke to prove he knew my name and address but he couldn’t do it. Also, he called my mobile instead of my landline, which just seemed fishy.

Some bloke rang me claiming there was an issue with my internet. bit odd as he wasn't from my actual provider, so I just ended the call.
