Today I got a call claiming to be from Ballingdon about a free boiler service supposedly covered by a warranty we have with them. Something felt off when the caller asked for my card expiry date, so I told him I don’t share card details unless I’m sure the call’s legit. I then asked, ‘What boiler do your records say I have?’ He replied it was a Category B gas boiler, but I told him we don’t even have gas in our house. After that, he quickly hung up. Watch out for scams like this!
