A caller claimed to be from BT Openreach, stating he was reaching out to sort out our broadband issues. The trouble is, we don’t even have BT broadband! When I questioned him about it, he abruptly ended the call. We’re based in Billericay, and it seems this number has been ringing numerous folks across Essex, as discussed on our local Facebook group. Quite suspicious, to say the least!
