They’ve rung me half a dozen times already, and when I picked up on the sixth call, I found myself yelling back at them... really won’t take a hint. Now I’m just sitting here by the phone, ready to whistle if they call again...

Today I got a call from this number, supposedly about an issue with my computer. The guy said he was from Windows tech support, speaking with a typical Indian accent. He insisted that if I turned my PC on, he could reveal all these invisible viruses at work. Not dumb enough to buy that story, I kept listening. Then he started going on about how I have five fingers, and the middle one’s longest - a clear hint he was about to be rude. So I replied that it was directed right at him, and ended the call. Properly unpleasant experience.

I was looking for a Mrs Jones, but as soon as I asked which address they wanted, they just cut the call.

I got a call from someone speaking with a strong Indian accent, claiming to work for a computer support firm whose name I couldn't quite catch. They asked me to open a specific website on my browser to fix some issue supposedly affecting the RAM on my machine. After quizzing me about my keyboard, they figured out I was on a Mac, then handed me over to another person who insisted I switch to using my Windows PC. That’s when I told them to leave me alone and ended the call. They sounded pretty annoyed and kept ringing me back several times. Eventually, I told them I'm signed up with the TPS and they shouldn’t be contacting me at all. After that, they finally stopped bothering me.
