It's a BT registered number, so why on earth haven't the authorities done something about this individual?

I recently received a comparable call from a chap claiming to be Indian. He was adamant that he could fix the computer issues we’d supposedly reported to Microsoft, and he insisted on speaking in our "native language," no less! It was clearly a scam, and we promptly gave him a piece of our minds.

Today I got a call from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian accent, reading off a script, telling me there was something wrong with my computer. I could hear loads of chatter in the background, so I guessed it was a call centre. I asked him straight if he knew he was part of a scam and suggested maybe he should find a job that doesn't involve cheating people. He stopped trying to justify what his firm was doing and even asked how he’d find another job easily. Maybe he’s just as much a victim as the folks he rings up and scams. - caller: Technical help desk

I received a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my computer. I politely informed him that I didn't own any computers, which was a bit of an exaggeration. He swiftly ended the call after that!

I've just received a rather dubious call from an Indian gentleman claiming there are critical problems with my Microsoft software. He insisted that I urgently needed to address it. I must admit, I was a bit baffled and told him I didn’t quite grasp the situation. He then offered to resolve the issue for a sum of £250. I kindly informed him that I would consult someone else about it and wished him farewell.

I spoke to an Indian chap about an issue I was having with my computer. When I mentioned that I had actually broken it the previous week, he promptly hung up on me!

I called my elderly father, who's 87, three times this morning, and I have a hunch I might have tried reaching him once earlier in the week. He had quite the battle trying to handle his phone on each occasion, so he eventually rang me back, fretting that someone might be trying to contact him for some reason. I decided to search the number online, which at least helped ease his concerns a bit.

I received a rather curious phone call from an individual named John, who appeared to be from India. He claimed that some vital programmes on my computer had ceased to function, though he generously offered to assist me in rectifying the issue. Given my background with Microsoft over a dozen years, I decided to engage in a bit of banter with him. It turned into quite an amusing exchange!

I had a rather dubious call earlier from the number 0208 385 4766. A fellow with an accent that seemed Indian claimed to be ringing me on behalf of Network Systems about a "computer issue" with my PC or laptop. Straight away, I realised it was all a bit dodgy and made it clear that I wasn't interested in their chatter. Thankfully, this was confirmed by your website, which helps to ward off these pesky scams!
