Got a call from that same bloke from India, and my folks are old as well. He wanted to talk to my mum who has dementia, repeating the same rubbish story. It really shook my dad up, and he ended up ringing me all worried. Absolute scumbags, hope I never cross paths with them.

0208385211 called my elderly mum and dad claiming they were owed £4686 from some PPI thing. The guy, who sounded like he had a strong Indian accent, said “John Smith” was his name. Then a “solicitor” called Janet Rodgers was meant to deliver a cheque, but only after they bought £200 worth of Amazon vouchers from Tesco first. They kept ringing up, really pushing them. I answered one time and told them flat out it was a scam and to stop ringing. After that, they left really nasty messages on the voicemail. Honestly, I’d warn anyone not to pick up or even chat to these people.

These muppets are proper desperate, let me tell ya. This bloke rang me saying I’d get some PPI compensation, but all they wanted was my bank info. As if I’m daft enough to fall for that. Give it a rest, mate!

Some bloke called 0208385211 said his name was John Gill and he was from PPI. He told me I had £4,608 coming to me and said someone would be delivering it soon or sumthin'. Bit fishy if you ask me!

Some lady called me, said her name was Sonia Wilson, told me I’d won £4651 like someone else did before. Then she said someone had to visit my house to hand over the cheque. I wasn’t having any of it, told them no way, and ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with a really thick Indian accent saying I’d been granted a PPI payout of £4,082.00, which was odd since I never made a claim. She said her name was Sonia Wilson and asked for £200 upfront before anything could happen. Luckily, I realised it was a scam before sending any money.

They keep calling me from 0208385211, nonstop. They want me to buy a £200 Amazon voucher and say a woman will show up with a cheque for about £4,651 as some kind of payment. They just won’t quit, constantly pressuring me to get this voucher. Anyone know how I can block or stop these calls?

Got a phone call claiming I'd won £4,681, but before they'd hand over the cheque, they wanted me to come in for an ID check. I wasn’t having it, so asked them to send the documents over so I could have a proper look. They said they couldn't. Then I asked for their website, and the guy, with a heavy Indian accent, said "Money Saving Expert" and his name was John Gill. Total nonsense. Honestly, I never trust any calls I didn’t expect.

Got a call from some firm saying my PPI claim went through, which is odd since I've never had any PPI or even applied for one. As soon as I told them that, they just dropped the call on me.
