I've been getting these incessant phone calls from a publishing firm based in London. They keep claiming it's all in the name of 'anniversary festivities'-I imagine they’re referring to the Queen's Jubilee or some such. It's becoming rather bothersome, as they're continually pressing me to speak with my Principal, but they refuse to provide any details in writing or even clarify why they're calling. They come off as quite posh and seem very convincing, which makes it all the more infuriating. I received yet another call this afternoon, and to my annoyance, the caller claimed to be associated with the NUS. However, I've just rung the NUS to verify, and surprise, he isn’t affiliated with them at all! They are just too persistent and downright annoying!
