I received a rather suspicious automated call purporting to be from BT, claiming that my broadband would be disconnected. The trouble is, I don’t even have an account with them! It raised all sorts of alarm bells, so I promptly ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call off some guy saying he was from Microsoft, telling me my computer was beeping warnings or summat. I fancied having a bit of fun, so I played along. He was an Asian bloke asking me to give him control of me PC. When he told me to read back what I was typing, I just made up some nonsense, said "fucketc" or summat daft like that. Then I told him he was a nasty little scammer and to jog on and get lost!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from “online support services pic”. They said my Windows PC had some big issues but I haven’t even used Windows in over two years! Seems fishy to me.
