Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and I've got this thing called Call Guardian. The first time someone rings, they gotta say who they are and press the hash key, else I don't pick up. They never do it, so it’s my little trick to dodge annoying calls - seems to work pretty well.

I've had this number ringing me constantly, but whenever I pick up, there's just silence on the other end. It's so frustrating!

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding this number for violating GDPR regulations. Despite multiple requests from various colleagues to take us off their calling list, they persist in ringing our office repeatedly. In fact, we receive calls around three to four times weekly. It's become rather frustrating.

this guy with an asian accent totally butchered the way he said my name, so i knew straight away it was a scam. plus, i’m not the account holder, so how on earth did he know my first name? i just let him go on and on about how i wouldn’t get any more annoying calls - i was like, “funny, that’s exactly what you’re doing right now.” he kept denying he was being pushy, but i dodged all his questions and he just hung up. total con, no doubt about it.

Got a call from a lady who said her name was Maria, sounded Asian. She gave me an 0800 number I should call back, said it was from BT. Anyone know how I can report these annoying calls?

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying I wouldn’t be bothered by annoying calls anymore. They wanted to hand me a free number to ring if I got any more calls. I just told them to put it in writing and send me a letter.

Got a call saying it’s from Visa or something, talking about some £600 charge, complete nonsense really. Plus, the person on the line was pretty rude too. Total scam.

A chap with an Asian accent rang up and asked to speak to me directly. Curious, I inquired about the purpose of his call. He assured me he wasn’t trying to sell anything, yet proceeded to question whether anyone in my home was on government assistance. Not wanting to engage further, I didn’t respond and swiftly hung up, switching off my phone immediately afterwards.
