Today, I got a few calls from a number claiming to be from a phone company wanting to talk about my contract. I usually ignore numbers I don't recognise, but after the 4th call, I got curious. I actually picked up the 3rd time but stayed silent, and they hung up. When I finally took the 4th call, I greeted them with a blunt "Hello!!" The chap on the other end had a pretty thick Asian accent, and I struggled to make him out. As soon as I twigged it was one of those sales calls, I was pretty blunt and told him I’d just signed a new contract. You could tell he wasn’t too chuffed about that. Before hanging up, I told him to take my number off their list and not to bother me again. Guess we’ll see if they stick to that!
