I received a call featuring a robotic female voice claiming to be from BT, informing me that I had a missed call from them. They proceeded to warn me about supposed ‘illegal activity’ linked to my account, stating that both my phone line and Internet would be cut off within the next day or two. They urged me to press 1 to chat with an ‘executive’. The thing is, I don't even have BT for my phone or Internet services! Clearly a scam!
