The chap on the other end claimed to be James from BT’s Technical Department and requested to chat with the householder. I simply said cheerio and hung up. This follows a prior encounter with James at 11:24 on the 18th of June 2016, where he insisted that my account had been compromised over recent months. He urged me to log into my computer, but I hadn’t even got it switched on! When I questioned him, his tone turned quite unpleasant, and he even threatened to disconnect my internet service.
