I bet there’s a poor soul somewhere stuck paying the bill for this number. How come no one’s suing or pressing charges against them? Seems like it should be a straightforward thing to sort out, if you ask me. :-)

On 20/06/2016 at about 13:12, I got a call from someone claiming to be James from BT’s Technical Department asking for the householder. I just said goodbye and hung up. Then, a couple of days earlier, on 18/06/2016 at 11:24, the same James phoned, saying my computer had been hacked recently and wanted me to log in. But my computer wasn’t even switched on! When I questioned him, he got quite nasty and even threatened to disconnect my internet. Eventually, seeing he wasn’t getting anywhere with me, he abruptly ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying they were with Talk Talk, even though I don’t use them anymore. They warned me my phone line would be cut off today unless I gave them all my internet and online account info because apparently, hackers from China were messing with my details. He even said he had all my passwords for different accounts, which sounded totally fishy.

I picked up the phone but got nothing back, just silence. I reckon it's one of those dodgy calls pretending to be from Talk Talk, where they try to get into your computer to "sort out" your internet problems. They've called me four times over the past month or so. One time I decided to mess with them and said they'd better clear out my bank account while they're at it!

I got two calls from this number, with someone saying they were from TalkTalk saying there was a hacking problem with our internet and phone. First call, when I asked for an email detailing the issue and how they’d sort it, the person just hung up. Then, less than 10 minutes later, they called again and tried to get my son to open the command prompt and run some ‘Netsh’ commands to ‘fix’ the network remotely. Seemed fishy to me.
