My landline rang and when I answered, I stayed quiet but then the person on the other end just ended the call.

Got a recorded message about possible dodgy Visa usage, telling me to press 1 or 2 to sort it out. I hit 2 for help and some bloke picked up, sounded like he was from overseas. Claimed to be from Visa and asked why I called. I told him I got a call from them, and he wanted more info. Then he kept saying ‘Mr’ like expecting me to say something, but I had a bad feeling it was a scam. Asked for my name, and he just hung up. Honestly, best to just ignore and hang up if you get this call.

Got a ring from this number claiming they were from BT, said something about my internet not being secure. The bloke had a proper British accent, sounded quite convincing. Still, I’m going to reach out to BT myself shortly just to make sure it’s legit.
