They claimed to represent British Telecom and mentioned I had some issues with my internet. When I pressed for details, the fellow said that since I wasn't a tech expert, I likely wouldn’t grasp the problem. At that point, I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up. Afterwards, I looked up the number and found nothing to validate their claim.
