This dodgy scam call just kept going even after I hung up, had to actually unplug the phone to stop it!

I answered my phone one time and there was nothing but silence, no one on the other end. Even after I hung up, the line stayed active. I had to actually unplug the phone cable from the wall just to stop the call completely. Proper annoying!
