Got a call from 02086386257 claiming to be from the Inland Revenue telling me I had to get in touch or else I’d be in trouble. Honestly, who falls for that? The Inland Revenue wouldn’t act like that at all. These pranksters need to try proper work instead of pulling stunts like this!

Got a message on my phone saying I had to ring back HMRC. When I did call, some foreign-sounding person asked to 'update my details' or something like that. Totally felt like a scam, so I just hung up. Definitely dodgy.

Got a voicemail supposedly from HMRC saying I had to call them back and pay right away, or else I'd end up in jail. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
