Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, sounded like a total scam to me.

Got a call last Friday around lunch time from someone saying I could get a discounted phone through EE. It sounded like the call was coming from a house, not one of those big call centres, judging by the noise in the background. I told the person I wasn’t keen and they just ended the call straight away. I only answered because I was waiting on a callback from my council, which has a very similar number. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
