I got one of those automated calls saying there was suspicious activity on my VISA card for more than £1000. It asked me to either “approve” or talk to an advisor. Just for a laugh, I chose to speak with their advisor, but honestly, the person hardly spoke English properly. The number came up with a Charlton area code, which is normally a local number, so I reckon it’s some sort of trick to make it look like a UK call when it’s not.
