This number rang me up claiming my computer was shooting out dodgy messages and there was something wrong with the OS. When I asked which operating system they meant, they told me Microsoft. I told them I use a MacBook and that they were just scammers trying it on. They ended the call right after that.

Got a call on my home phone earlier today. The person wanted to talk to whoever uses the computer most. When I asked what it was about and who they were, they didn’t say a word and just ended the call. Tried calling back, but the number wasn’t working anymore. Be careful not to share your usernames or passwords, and don’t let anyone have remote control of your PC, even if you’re having issues. They could be using it to send scam messages to others without you knowing.

Got a call on my home phone earlier today from someone asking for the main computer user. When I asked what it was about and who they were, they just went quiet and then cut me off. I tried calling back, but the number was dead. Just a heads up, don’t ever share your usernames or passwords or let anyone remotely access your PC, even if they're offering to fix issues. There's a chance they could hijack your machine to send scam emails without you knowing. The number was 02083108897, so watch out!
