Received a call from the technical team at Virgin Media today. I informed them I don’t hold an account with them and have no broadband service set up, and they promptly ended the conversation. To me, that strongly suggests it's a dodgy call. Honestly, not even a polite farewell or a thank you! Quite rude, if you ask me!

Received a call purporting to be from Virgin Media's Technical Department. When I explained that I neither possess an account with them nor have any broadband service installed, they abruptly disconnected the call. It’s reasonable to infer that this could be a scam. They didn’t even bother to say thank you or goodbye-how incredibly rude!
