Got a call from a robot voice saying I was going to court over some fraud thing. It told me to press 1 if I wanted details. Don’t fall for it and just hang up immediately - total scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer was infected with a virus and that my system had been compromised. They asked loads of questions and then said there’d be a one-time admin charge of £4.99. I gave them my Visa info but then noticed on my screen it said something about a £200 Western Union transfer. Suddenly the figure switched to over £10,000! When I asked about that, they just told me not to worry. I quickly called my bank’s fraud department and ended the call. Told them to cancel my card straight away. Watch out for these scams!
