My elderly mum’s been getting loads of scam calls lately. She’s been lucky though, cause she just hangs up on them.

So, I got a call around 11 in the morning and the person claimed to be from VISA saying that £600 had been taken out of my account. They told me to press one to supposedly talk to someone who could sort it out. Definitely sounded fishy to me!

Somebody called saying they were from Aviva and that they’d withdrawn £600 from my bank. They told me to press one if that was true. Like I’m just gonna do that, seriously!
