Got a ring from this number claiming to be EE, trying to sell me a discount on my bill. When I asked for proof he was really from EE, he just said the number's showing on my phone, which it did, but that doesn’t exactly prove anything. Heard loads of background noise, sounded like a busy call centre. Could be genuine, could be a scam. Either way, if I wanna sort anything out with EE, I’ll give them a bell myself later on. Better safe than sorry.
