Got a call from this number today, bloke asked if I was Mrs Brown, the wife of the old tenant. I said no, but asked what he needed anyhow. He kept dodging my questions and it was hard to understand what he was after, probably because of the language difference. Sounds like some PPI lad digging through a decades-old directory or summat, maybe from 19 years back? Strange one.

On the 15th of October 2015, I got a call from this number. When I picked up, it was dead silent with no one saying a word. It looked like a local London number, so it’s hard to tell who it might be.

Received a call from this number earlier today and it was rather vexing. I informed the chap on the line that we aren't using Microsoft, and when I pointed out it was a scam, he got rather irate and told me to shove off! Quite impudent, if you ask me. I do wonder, if these calls are coming through, can't the authorities trace the number and put an end to their mischief?

Keeps calling, let it ring a tad before hanging up when I pick up. Quite discourteous, if you ask me. - number: 02082952302

Whenever I pick up the phone, the caller just cuts the line. If I dial 1471, their number appears, but if I try to call them back, it just rings endlessly without anyone picking up - what a right con!

I had a similar experience, but fortunately, I chose not to answer the call, and I've since added the number to my block list.

Absolutely, I’m in complete agreement. It’s nothing short of a ruse aimed at taking over your machine and siphoning off all your sensitive data, including passwords and personal information.

Just received a call from her, but the moment I started asking questions, she hung up straight away!

Received a call from this number a mere ten minutes ago. I've encountered this scam artist previously, so I allowed him to prattle on for a bit. Eventually, I had enough and gave him a piece of my mind, calling him a total numpty and using a couple of rather expressive words that both started and finished with the letter F.

They've reached out, claiming to be from the tech support team, insisting they need to access your computer to resolve an issue on behalf of Microsoft. Trust me, it's all a ruse! Beware of this scam!
