Got a call from someone pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse. She asked what phone I had, I said a Nokia 3310. Then she asked how much I pay monthly, I told her £10. She tried pushing an iPhone 12 for £45 a month. I said that’s too much, my max is £10. She said "that’s too low" and offered an iPhone 8 for £30 a month. Got fed up, asked her to just list the handsets starting from the cheapest and put the phone down on the table. After about 4 minutes of silence, she finally hung up.
