I received a rather suspicious call from this number earlier today, claiming to be from WPG regarding the expiration of our washing machine insurance. The thing is, we’ve never had any insurance cover, as we don’t buy into that. They were trying to convince us to renew for an exorbitant fee or something along those lines. Pretty sure it’s a scam!

What a dodgy character! I ended the call with him, only for him to ring me back and hurl some right obscenities. Useless!

Received a call today (11th May) about some washing machine insurance that, upon investigation, I've never even had! I returned their call tonight and terminated the so-called policy, which seemed to ruffle their feathers a bit. I've also notified my bank to avoid any payments. They really had me off guard - the machine is nearly a decade old and needs very little upkeep at this stage!

Received a call from a number I didn’t recognise earlier this afternoon. The person on the line surprisingly knew my name and even the first part of my address. I didn’t stick around and promptly hung up, then blocked the number. I’d strongly recommend you do the same! It’s clearly a dodgy situation!
