Got a call from this number earlier saying they were from WPG, telling me my washing machine insurance had run out. Thing is, I don’t have any insurance on it and never signed up for anything like that. They kept pushing to renew it for some fee. Looks like one of those dodgy scams to me.

Total rip off! I ended the call, then he rang me again just to insult me! What a mug.

Received a call today on 11th May about some washing machine insurance that apparently expired, but funny enough, I’ve never even signed up for it. Phoned them back later this evening to cancel whatever was going on and they didn’t take it well at all. I’ve also told my bank not to authorise any payments. Caught me off guard since my washing machine is nearly a decade old and barely needs any upkeep these days!

Just got a call from this number I didn’t know earlier today. The person on the other end already had my name and the start of my address, which was pretty creepy. I ended up hanging up and blocking them straight away. Would recommend you block it too - it’s obviously some kind of scam!
