Got a call from someone pretending to be from Amazon Prime, saying my subscription needed renewing. Thing is, it doesn’t actually expire yet. They asked if I had a computer handy - pretty obvious they wanted to get in remotely and steal info pretending it was for the renewal. I told them the subscription wasn’t up for renewal, but they insisted that’s why they called. I called them out as scammers and they hung up straight away. Blocked the number immediately.
