Today, I received a call from a woman speaking with an American accent, claiming to be from Amazon. She insisted that I needed to pay £79 for their Prime membership, which I found rather odd as I've never subscribed to it. When I mentioned this, she abruptly cut the line. It’s evident this was a dodgy scam attempt.
